What is an eSIM?

An eSIM is a built-in digital SIM that replaces the need for a physical SIM card, offering greater flexibility, improved convenience, and enhanced security.

2. The possibility of activating more than one SIM card on the same device

3. No SIM card port is required

How to get an eSIM?

1.  Request the eSIM and generate a QR code from your carrier.

Activation Methods for iPhone 17:

· To add a new eSIM, please follow the below:

1. Go to Settings

2. Select Cellular

3. Select Add eSIM.

4. Select Use QR Code eSIM.

5. Scan the QR code with your device's camera

· To transfer an eSIM from an iPhone to another iPhone, please follow the below:

(Make sure that both iPhone with iOS or later & have internet connection)

1. Go to Settings

2. Select Cellular

3. Select Add eSIM.

4. Select “Transfer From Nearby iPhone”

5. Confirm the transfer on your old device and wait for activation.

· To transfer eSIM or SIM thorugh “eSIM Quick Transfer”, please follow the below:

1. Sign in to both devices with the same Apple Account

2. Put both iPhone models nearby with Bluetooth turned on.

3. Make sure that both iPhone models are on iOS 18.4 or later.

4. Follow the on-screen steps.
