In The Absence of Blood

Heartbroken from her parents divorce, Margot is grappling with a new normal in which everything she once believed about herself and her family has changed, namely her relationship with her father.

As she painfully tries to come to terms with the separation between them, she finds unexpected solace in a stranger who teaches her the value of chosen family and reminds her how it feels to belong.

Unintentionally dispelling the adage that blood runs thicker than water, is this unforeseen bond able to heal a wound in her heart that she had been prepared to carry for the rest of her life? Based on true events, In The Absence of Blood will prove the belief that what makes up a family runs much deeper than the bond of blood alone and that what is for you will never pass you by.
