History of Dundee Royal Lunatic Asylum

Dundee Asylum has been in place for nearly 200 years and this fascinating account of its history and patients is a well researched description of asylum life over they years. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive.
