This work deals with the extraction and purification of natural dyestuff from a rots of Curcuma Longla L. and Acacia Nilotica seeds and dyeing of cotton fabric by exhaust dyeing method. The main coloring component of turmeric is curcumin, and which produces yellow color in the textile material in Acacia Nilotica it is Catechin which produces brown colour in textile material The purified curcumin and catechin produces various shades on cotton fabric with different dyeing parameters and use of mordants.
