Empire of Stars and Opals: Book One in the Serral Brook Series

Serral Brook lives in a dangerous world. Raised in an outlaw planetary colony to be a fighter pilot in the endless war with an alien race, survival is her primary concern. Sure, she has an affinity for space Aeros and engines and an allergy to rules, but her people are threatened at every turn. Fighting is all she knows. Then a terrifying encounter with the enemy reveals an unexpected potential future.

Captured and sent to a prison camp, Serral is expected to be the alien princes concubine. But he secretly wants her to teach him to fly spacefighters. In their budding romance, Serral sees an opportunity- if can she convince her pupil that their interests align.

Together, they begin a galactic revolution that may consume them both.
