Critical Evaluation of Andrew Sorkins Press Article "Bitcoins Climate Problem"

This assessment provides an overview of the current challenges for Bitcoin in terms of energy consumption and electronic waste. On the other hand, it takes into account assumptions that energy for Bitcoin mining comes from renewable energy sources. It also explains research gaps that were not collected in Sorkins article and this critical review. Finally, Sorkins press article is assessed and an outlook is given.
