Characterization Techniques of Glasses and Ceramics

This book arises from the lectures of the Summer Course of The University of La Laguna, Spain. The basic six chapters of the book are: Analytical methods for rare earth determination, microstructure investigation, thermal methods, x-ray diffraction, Mِssbauer spectroscopy and neutron diffraction. The application to inorganic materials, both amorphous and crystalline are also discussed.
