This book is the result of intense research for the authors masters dissertation at the State University of Piauي. It was born out of the problematization of the double prejudice faced by black homosexuals. It is a dense scientific text, but also one of memories and experiences. Its not a sociological or anthropological text, its research into the theory and criticism of literature and homocultural studies, taking literary reading and a cultural studies approach as its starting point.
