The Days of the Shining Sun

As the world is ablaze and blood is spilt across multiple countries, Areej has used her pen and paper, deciding to inspire hope in this world of darkness for people who often lose it when they need it most. She has learnt how to empathise and sympathise with others, not because of necessity but because of a newfound understanding of global terrors. With horrific crimes against humanity and war crimes occurring daily, she learns that there is more to life than her own emotions. Continue with her on this journey of empathy, sadness, hope, self-discovery, love, and many other emotions that people usually try to avoid. I went on a journey I had not been on in a while. My heart went on a journey, But it ended with cries.
