Our Friends the Dandie Dinmont and Skye Terrier

This is a detailed handbook on the Dandie Dinmont, a small Scottish breed of dog in the terrier family with a very long body, short legs, and a distinctive "top-knot" of hair on the head. It contains chapters on everything from selection and breeding to training and exhibiting, making it a must-have for existing and prospective owners alike. Contents include: "The Origin of the Dandie Dinmont", "Dandie Dinmont Temperament", "The Dandies Show Career", "The Dandie Dinmont and Skye", "The Dandie Dinmont Terrier", "The Sky Terriers Origin", "Sky Characteristics", "The Show Skye", "The Sky Terrier: Standard Description", "Puppy Rearing and Training", "The Show Preparation of Dandies and Skyes", etc. Many vintage books such as this are becoming increasingly scarce and expensive. We are republishing this volume now in an affordable, modern, high-quality addition complete with a specially commissioned new introduction on dog breeding.
