Numerical Simulation of Canopy Flows

Supported by the German Federal Weather System a numerical model for simulating meteorological phenomena, induced by deforestation was developed and tested. The book can be recommended especially to meteorologists, ecologists and forest scientists, but also urban and regional planners will profit from it.
