No Medals for This War : For those who fight without Applause

This book did not begin with the intention of recognition or approval. It began in quiet

moments, when thoughts refused to fade and writing became the only way to understand them. These poems grew from ordinary days, heavy nights, confusion, healing, and reflection. They are not written for a specific age, phase, or emotion, but for anyone who has carried feelings they could not fully explain.

Writing became a way to give shape to what life often leaves unspoken. These poems do not try to fix pain or offer answers they simply remain. They speak of endurance, quiet strength, and the courage to continue even when clarity is absent. This book does not romanticize struggle, it honors persistence. If even one poem offers comfort, recognition, or reassurance that moving forward is possible, then these pages have fulfilled their purpose.
