This little work recounts gems of wisdom the author recalls in living life on lifes terms over a lifetime. In moments of contemplation, he recalls wisdom given and lessons learnt to pass on to the reader in lessons of the consequences of his lot in life in the afternoon of his existence. He recounts the wisdom of wiser heads than his own that he had not listened to before he ultimately accepted the consequences of his actions. The author reflects on the lives of great artists, men of science, philosophy and spirituality in a vision of learning to live according to the ways of the spirit, not the ways of the world. It is in the telling of this story in this reflection that he can pass on the lessons he is still learning for the mutual benefit of the author and you the reader,
