Mohalabia : A Lament for Gazas children

Mohalabia: A Lament for Gazas Children is a deeply moving poetry collection that gives voice to childhood interrupted by war.

Drawing from real events and lived testimonies, Sadiya Abdunasir writes with restraint and tenderness - capturing moments of hunger, fear, loss, and quiet resilience through the eyes of children in Gaza.

Like the milk dessert it is named after, Mohalabia holds sweetness and fragility together. It is a book about what once was - and what should never have been taken.

Read gently.

These poems carry memories.
