MECHANICAL VIBRATIONS

The purpose of this publication is to provide experience in the diagnosis and evaluation of the most common rotating equipment in the sugar industry, using vibration analysis as the main tool, as well as the application of other support techniques to determine defects in the operation of the assets. It also provides methods used in the follow-up to correct anomalies in each of the cases presented, such as unbalance, soft foot, misalignment, mechanical clearances and bearing failures.
