Introducing the UNESCO Chair of Allameh Tabatabai University

The UNESCO Chair on Science and Technology Communication at Allameh Tabatabai University (ATU) was established 2018 within the Faculty of Communication. Its mission is to promote the effective dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge, fostering public understanding and ethical practices while addressing global challenges like climate change, health crises, and the moral implications of emerging technologies. The Faculty of Communication plays a pivotal role in supporting these efforts by integrating research, education, and public engagement to bridge the gap between science and society. This Chair aligns with UNESCOs broader goals of advancing education, science, and culture through interdisciplinary collaboration.
