Information Systems Engineering : An Introduction

This introductory text deals with the development and evaluation of computer based information systems. It explains the main components of information systems, how they are related, and how one develops and maintains such systems. It advocates a top-down approach to systems design. Only an elementary knowledge of programming and mathematics is presupposed.
