He belonged a reputed family of Ayurveda doctors of Kerala and was the President of the 50th All India Ayurvedic Vidyapeeth. Bestowed with an arresting and charismatic personality, he was an erudite Sanskrit scholar and professor at Government Ayurveda Medical College, Mysore.
