Generation

The method of sequence stratigraphy, developed by the petroleum industrie, covers a great portion of the 30 contributions of this volume. Most of them are focused on investigations to the stratigraphic and tectonic en- vironment, but also the quantitativ restoration by using balanced sections is applied. Contributions from east and southeast Europe provide important information about their oil and gas reservoirs. A significant volume for researchers in the petroleum industry but also valuable for scientists in universities.
