From a Small Town: The Collected Poems of Bonnie Becker

""If you were asked to sit down and document your life in 21 thought-provoking poems, could you do it? This collection of poems emerged from this question and is a tribute to the magical moments as well as trials and tribulations of 35 year old, Bonnie Beckers life to date. In this book, Becker documents her journey from South Africa to Australia, all the while describing the events that have contributed to making her the woman she is today. Make no mistake, the poems in this collection expose challenging themes related to suicide, mental health, friendships, marriage, emigration and more but Becker provides insight into the fact that sometimes your greatest gift lies next to your deepest wounds. If you enjoy reading rhyming poems that explore human emotions related to love, loss and hope then this is a collection worth reading.""
