The heart is an important part of the circulatory system. The heart is located in the chest cavity, between the left and right lungs. When the heart contracts, its size will be the size of a persons fist. Chest bones, ribs and cartilages are located near the front and upper surfaces ofthe heart. After the heart, esophagus and chest cavity are located. The lower part of the heart is close to the diaphragm muscle and in its upper part is the superior vena cava, aorta and pulmonary artery. There are grooves on the surface of e heart. Coronary grooves (Coronary Sulcus) which is the part of a separation and limit of the ventricle and the atrium. Anterior posterior longitudinal sulci, which is the separation plane of the left ventricle and the right ventricle. The heart is a hollow organ that is divided into four parts or cavities. The upper two cavities are atria, which are divided into left and right atrium by the atrium wall. Also, two lower cavities, which are called ventricles, are divided into left and right ventricles by the ventricular wall.
