Evanescence is the second volume of Passing Flutterings. The first part, Daily Evanescence, notes the passage of all those moments that disappear instantly without us noticing. Musical Evanescence, for what is music if not evanescence itself, is the second section and consists of on the spot impressions taken down during recitals at The Melba Hall, Melbourne in almost an automatic act of writing.
