English Studies Beyond the Center: Teaching literature and the future of global English

The book aims to open a cross-disciplinary conversation that will help literature faculty recalibrate, and provoke Anglosphere universities into rethinking the meaning of the English major. It also reasserts the case for literary studies by arguing for ways in which literary pedagogy can see itself as part of a newly configured discipline.
