Endodontic Emergency

Endodontic emergencies are matter of great concern to the both patient and dentists as well as staff. Emergency symptoms can occur with varying degrees of pain and swelling in patients before, during and after the root canal treatment. These emergencies are result of combination of irritating factors which leads to severe inflammatory reaction in pulp and periapical spaces. Release of a group of chemical mediators that initiate the inflammation. Pain results from two factors which initiate inflammation.
