Digital Arrest : Never Fall into the Traps of Criminals

Digital Arrest: Never Fall into the Traps of Criminals is a timely and essential guide that exposes one of the most dangerous forms of modern cybercrime-where fear, authority, and urgency are weaponized to trap innocent people into psychological submission and financial loss.

As digital technology becomes inseparable from daily life, criminals have evolved beyond simple scams. Posing as police officers, cybercrime officials, bank authorities, or government agents, they falsely accuse victims of serious crimes, threaten arrest, isolate them from family, and force them into obedience through phone and video calls. The result is not only loss of money, but deep emotional trauma and shattered confidence.

Written in clear, simple language, this book explains what digital arrest is, how these scams operate, and why even intelligent, educated people fall victim. Using real-life case patterns, it reveals the psychology behind fear-based manipulation and dismantles the myths criminals rely on.

More importantly, the book provides practical, step-by-step guidance on recognizing early warning signs, responding calmly to threatening calls, protecting vulnerable groups, and recovering dignity and peace of mind after an incident.

Authored by M K Devidasan, a retired Wing Commander and educator, this book is not meant to frighten readers-but to empower them.
