County Fairs and Festivals in the East Riding of Yorkshire (Folklore History Series)

Part of a series on the county folklore and festivals of the United Kingdom, this remarkable and well researched book on the festival customs and feast day practices, is all drawn from the voices of the people who took part in them. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.
