عن المنتج

This research is based on interviews - which originated the documentary BRAZILIAN BASS GROOVES - The goal is to show the adaptation of the contrabass to the Brazilian genres from the time the first orchestrations appeared in the 1930s until the 70s. This paper also describes the music scene of the nineteenth century which enabled genres such as Choro, Samba and Bossa-Nova appears, and also compares old and modern ways to play them. At last, It approaches interviewees with questions aimed at clarifying the ethnic and pertinent contributions that led to the formation of various genres of Brazilian pop music.
