Beyond the Edge: Safe Use of Hormonal Agents in Sports

Anabolic steroids are increasingly popular among athletes and bodybuilders for their potential to enhance muscle growth and athletic performance, despite the well-documented risks associated with their use. It is important to emphasize that high doses and the combination of multiple anabolic steroids can never be considered safe. Tragically, the deaths of numerous athletes, particularly bodybuilders, have increasingly been linked to anabolic steroid use. In my previous publications, I explored the evidence supporting the use of nutritional sports supplements, which are generally safer alternatives to anabolic steroids. However, there remains a concerning gap: there is little evidence to suggest that a significant number of anabolic steroid users heed medical advice or warnings.This book seeks to address a crucial question: "Can hormonal agents be used safely in bodybuilding and other sports?"
