Approaches to Energy Efficient Building Development

With the development of the world economy, the situation of Energy Crisis and Environmental Impact is serious. The high energy con-sumption and climate change are being big challenges to human beings development. Many developed countries have been leading the forefront in the energy efficient buildings development. China, as the biggest building market now, is eager to apply their experiences in Chinese development. The book presents a general description of approaches to energy efficient building development under Chinese contexts. The approaches are classified into three sets: administration, construction industry and architectural design. China government has started the progress to enhance energy efficiency.
