Apple Pie

Apple pie is an autobiography tending towards a mini-saga as it includes memories covering a total of 160 years. It creates a fascinating insight into 20th Century middle-class English life, much of which provides interesting comparison with that of the 21st Century. The author, Rick Appleton, is a retired Family Doctor, living with his wife Gill in Nantwich, Cheshire. They have 4 children and 9 grandchildren.
