After Us

"After Us" is a volume of poetry containing 64 short poems that capture the pain following the breakup of two people who still love each other. From this pain arise agony, delirium, even paranoia-immediate effects of the rupture-all reflected with sensitivity in the pages of this book. After Us aims to remind those going through such moments that they are not alone. Sooner or later, weve all experienced painful breakups. These should not be seen as absolute tragedies, but rather as necessary steps in our personal growth. A breakup can help us love more maturely, more deeply in the future. Those who turn their love into hatred or despair because of a breakup are, in fact, missing the opportunity to become better versions of themselves.
