Writer and explorer, Cliff Ingham, returns to Holly Blue Bay after years of being away. His latest work project takes him to the library and hes stunned to see his childhood friend, Maureen there. Even though she looks sterner than he remembered, the secret love he had for her at school soon resurfaces.

As Maureen and Cliff work together on his latest history book, Maureen finds herself falling for Cliff, but she tries her best to deny her feelings. She lost her husband years ago, and she accepted there will never be another man in her life. But as time goes on and she spends more time with Cliff she wonders if its possible to have more than one great love in your life.
