A Puffin Tried To Hop

Rita Greer waited until she was over sixty before writing poetry. This first collection features memories from her eventful and often tragic life, beginning with World War II and ending with a ghost sighting. She draws on serious thoughts to balance faraway places, food, nostalgia, her visual world as an artist and, above all, humour.
