Sue taughtEnglish in comprehensive schools for twenty years and also ran theschool libraries. She has spent the last ten years teaching adultscreative writing, study skills, assertiveness, and career and personaldevelopment at University of Sussex and for community groups.Sue also delivers workshops for foster carers on how to encourage children'sresilience in schools. She teaches their children on a one to one basisand believes that these are some of the most vulnerable and disadvantagedchildren in our society. Gill Hasson works with people from diversebackgrounds and situations. She works at Sussex University teachingcommunity development, career and personal development, critical thinkingand academic skills. Gill also runs training sessions for social workers,youth workers, teachers and parents, on a range of issues such as thepsychology of teenagers.
