In 1968, he was appointed assistant professor of chemistryat Rutgers University, where he taught until his appointment at EssexCounty College. Jack T. Ballinger, Ed.D., is a professor of chemistryat St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley, St. Louis Missouri.Dr. Ballinger has taught both chemistry and chemical technology coursesfor the past 29 years. He implemented one of only six chemical technologyprograms in the United States to be certified by the American ChemicalSociety. Professor Ballinger has eight years of industrial chemicalexperience, ranging from the petroleum industry to packaging materials.
